You will hear UK case studies from Emma Osmundsen at the eco-pioneering Exeter Council and Richard Partington, architect of Joseph Rowntree Housing Trust’s Derwenthorpe development, an exemplar of energy efficient community development and environmental enhancement.
From Austria, Günther Jedliczka will share his motivations and experiences of delivering nearly zero carbon residential buildings as a client in his role as founder and director of the Austrian not-for-profit student accommodation supplier OeAD student housing. What lessons can we learn from the Austrian model?
